UX/UI Design

UX/UI design for clearer digital experiences

Help people find their way, understand their options and complete the task they came to do. Glara helps small businesses and startups improve digital journeys through user experience and interface design.

We look at the structure, information and interactions behind an experience, then turn the findings into flows, prototypes and interfaces that account for practical delivery requirements.

Start with the user

Where do people get stuck?

Perhaps customers struggle to compare options, a form asks for information at the wrong moment, or navigation makes an important service difficult to find. A polished interface can still leave these questions unresolved.

We start by clarifying the user’s task and where the current experience gets in the way. That gives the design work a specific problem to solve.

Useful design deliverables

What UX/UI work can include

01

Experience review and research

Review current flows, stakeholder knowledge, feedback and analytics where available. Direct user research or usability testing can be included when the project requires it.

02

Journeys and information architecture

Map the steps people need to take and organise information around those tasks. Clarify navigation, page relationships and the moments when users need guidance.

03

Wireframes and prototypes

Make structure and interaction decisions tangible before detailed implementation. Wireframes and prototypes help review the proposed experience and identify questions early.

04

Interface design and reusable components

Develop key screens, interaction states and consistent components. The level of detail follows the product, the project scope and what the people building it need.

05

Design rationale and handoff

Explain how the design addresses the problem and account for implementation constraints. We agree the deliverables and development responsibilities before work begins.

Our design process

From the user’s task to a workable design

We identify the audience, the task they need to complete and the business goal the experience should support.
We use the evidence available to locate unclear steps, missing information and interaction problems, and decide which questions need more investigation.
We develop the relevant flows, structure, wireframes or prototypes. The proposed direction is reviewed before further detail is added, with testing where it is agreed in scope.
We refine the interface and key states, document the decisions and consider how the work can be implemented and maintained.

UX/UI work in practice

A more consistent vehicle-hire experience

For a vehicle-hire business, Glara shaped website journeys and interface designs in Figma. A reusable component system connects the visual direction with the screens and states the experience needs.

The work covers page structure, interface layouts and design-system foundations, creating a coherent basis for website delivery.

A clear scope

A focused engagement or part of a wider project

UX/UI work can focus on a specific flow or interface, or help establish the direction before a larger build. We choose the deliverables around the decisions you need to make.

For a complete website design and build, explore our Websites service. UX/UI can support that work, while keeping the user journey and design decisions clearly defined.

UX/UI questions

UX considers how the experience works: the tasks, structure and steps a person moves through. UI considers the interface: its visual presentation, components and interaction states. The two shape each other.

Yes. A service enquiry, comparison or booking journey can create unnecessary difficulty at any scale. The depth of the work should be proportionate to the problem.

The methods depend on the questions, available evidence and scope. We agree where direct research or testing will be useful rather than treating it as an automatic part of every engagement.

Glara can connect UX/UI work to website implementation. We agree whether the engagement includes development or design handoff, and make those responsibilities clear.
